Bio: Master Peter Byrne Irish Director

Master Peter Byrne affectionately known as 'Demolition Man' by all in the association who know him founded a Taekwon-do club in Aughrim, Co Wicklow in 1988 which affiliated to AIMAA in 1995 under Master John D'Arcy. Master Byrne ran the club for 18 years until 2006 prior to relocating to Limerick where he now runs a small club in his local village. During his tenure as chief instructor Master Byrne produced a number of black belts and national and world champions some of whom now run their own schools. Master Byrne is highly regarded as one of the top self defence experts in Europe and is always willing to share his knowledge with anyone who expresses a willingness to learn. He works tirelessly alongside Master D'Arcy travelling the length and breadth of the country to conduct testings and seminars to help build the association to what it is today.
